I'm Athira, a travel photographer, writer, and solar-powered introvert. Brought up in Malawi, the Warm Heart of Africa, I'm currently pursuing my passion for landscape photography and writing from a space of self-love.

As a third-culture kid, I spent my school years at BMIS in Lilongwe, then moved to Dubai to complete my undergraduate degree. Not long after working in an unsatisfactory corporate job, it didn’t take me long to discover that I was meant to go down the path of creativity, where thereafter I set out to build my own commercial food and product photography career.

 

You'll now find me on sabbatical from my commercial work, currently finding my footing as I live for the first time ever in India, in Bangalore.
