I’m Athira - a photographer, writer, and third-culture creative currently based in Bangalore, India. ​

 

My journey began in Malawi, where I spent my childhood absorbing the warmth and rich landscapes of Southeast Africa, before moving to Dubai for my undergraduate studies.

​

Realizing early on that corporate life wasn't my path, I transitioned into full-time creativity. After my undergraduate studies and a brief interlude in New Zealand, I returned to Dubai to build a commercial photography practice centered on food, product, and travel storytelling, with a keen love for editorial shots.

 

These days, I’m exploring a new chapter in India - focusing on personal photo essays, landscape photography, and writing from a space of intentional living. ​
